Since you have clicked on this page, it’s safe to assume you would like to know a little bit about who we are. You may remember Mike from his video blog, Mike Nierychlo ONLINE (mnonline.ca); if you have visited his website, you have probably noticed Mike’s passion for wine! Often referring to himself as a “wine nerd”, Mike takes every opportunity to educate himself about the fascinating world of wine. With that said, he is the first to admit that the more he learns, the less he knows. Although Robin does not claim to be a wine nerd, she has gained a considerable amount of knowledge through osmosis, because of Mike.

Moving to Vancouver Island from the greater Vancouver area has been an incredible experience. The pace of the island, along with the food culture and fantastic people, has really agreed with us. We enjoy spending our time cooking meals, working out in the garden, and hosting people in our home – all things the island embraces. This truly is paradise.

For us, buying a vineyard is a leap of faith, and a complete lifestyle change. It will transition us from our 9-5 schedules to a sunrise-sunset way of life, a challenge that we are excited to take on. Some people say we’re crazy, others say we’re inspiring. We’ll see!
